## Before departure (Sep 19/20)

- [x] **Buy the US$250 nonresident annual pass** — purchased 2026-09-22.
  Recreation.gov order `0897664684-1`; valid 2026-09-22 through 2027-09-30.
  The pass holder must be in the car with photo ID at every gate.
- [ ] **Confirm the accounting payer for the US$250 pass** before adding it to
  [`expenses.md`](expenses.md). The receipt identifies Visa ending in `3924`,
  but not the accounting party; do not infer the payer from the card suffix.
- [ ] **Print the pass PDF** after purchase and carry the physical copy.
  An unstaffed entrance requires a physical pass or printed PDF to be
  displayed. Ask the ranger for a physical pass at the first staffed entry.
- [ ] **KT: complete the LA DTLA online check-in form** — host check-in guide
  received Sep 24; apartment code and parking instructions are recorded in the
  [booking file](bookings/stays/airbnb-la-dtla.md). The entry code is activated
  only after the form is submitted. Use the [Hostaway portal](https://guest-portal.hostaway.com/65596088/dxYlP4ov/check-in).
- [ ] **MS: assign Air Canada seats** for the YVR ↔ SFO flights.

- [x] **MS: move today's SIXT pickup after the flight delay** — completed;
  booking `9739014160` now shows 2:00 PM PDT pickup and 2026-10-05 1:30 PM PDT return.
- [ ] **MS: have SIXT add LK as a permitted driver in writing before LK drives, for ICBC RoadStar coverage.**
  AmEx covers LK as a secondary driver whether or not she is listed; the active rental agreement currently lists MS only.
- [ ] **LK: confirm Budget LAX pickup/return location and price** —
  itinerary `73544810702403`. Hertz cancellation refund also TBC.
- [ ] **Brand Plaza Glendale** room, price and payment TBC.
- [ ] **Oct 3 overnight stop** on the drive back to SFO — not yet chosen.

  arrived Sep 22; the 14-day window closes ~Oct 6. Link in the stay's

- [x] **Sep 23: screenshot the Miramonte door code** — received Sep 23:
  **0110 + unlock**; recorded in the booking file and the Sep 24–26 day files.
- [ ] **Sep 22: save the Yosemite door code 0517 and wifi offline** before
  leaving cell coverage.
