- **08:30 PDT** Leave the Airbnb; park at Daly City BART and take BART to Embarcadero
- **09:15 PDT** Breakfast downtown at the Ferry Building Marketplace
- **10:00 PDT** Continue to Union Square
- **10:30 PDT** Apple Union Square — store opens at 10:00; allow about 30 minutes
- **11:00 PDT** Union Square and a California Street cable-car ride toward Chinatown
- **11:30 PDT** Chinatown — Dragon Gate and Grant Avenue on foot
- **12:30 PDT** North Beach — lunch and a short neighbourhood walk
- **13:30 PDT** North Waterfront — Coit Tower viewpoint if time permits, Pier 39 sea lions, Lombard Street, and Ghirardelli Square
- **14:30 PDT** Take the F-line toward Embarcadero, then BART back to Daly City
- **15:45 PDT** Collect the car and begin the western viewpoints route
- **16:15 PDT** Twin Peaks — 15-minute panorama stop at Christmas Tree Point
- **16:50 PDT** Painted Ladies — short stop at Alamo Square
- **17:25 PDT** Lands End — Sutro Baths and a short coastal walk
- **18:20 PDT** Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center — brief walk onto the bridge
- **18:40 PDT** Cross to Marin and continue to Battery Spencer; allow time for parking
- **19:10 PDT** Sunset at Battery Spencer; stay through blue hour, about 19:35 PDT
- **20:15 PDT** Dinner, then return to Daly City

## Notes

- Golden Gate Bridge and Battery Spencer were skipped on [Sep 20](2026-09-20.md) and moved here
- Leave the waterfront by **14:30 PDT**. If the route slips, drop Coit Tower or Painted Ladies before cutting Golden Gate time
- Alcatraz and the Mission/Castro do not fit this route
- **Monday:** some museums (incl. the de Young and Computer History Museum) are closed
