5:45 PM Drive toward Griffith Park
6:15–8:30 PM Griffith Observatory: Hollywood Sign and city views around sunset, then the exhibits after dark
Evening Return to DTLA

Getty Center admission is free but requires a timed-entry reservation; parking is paid
Griffith Observatory admission is free; planetarium shows require separate tickets
If Getty does not suit Lera, choose her museum before reserving: The Broad for contemporary art, the Academy Museum for film, or the Natural History Museum for science and history. A different choice may require moving the museum to another day because the Academy Museum is closed Tuesday
